Sadaqah Jariyah for Omar Kaafi Ahmed Ibrahim

Omar was our brother and a beloved member of our community who passed away recently at the young age of 25. He was much known for his gentle heart and kind nature, he impacted many of our lives and left an impression on everyone who knew him. He was so selfless and deeply cared for others and always wanted to help all people . In his honour, we would love to build a masjid where it is most needed. This house of Allah will be established in Omar’s name, serving as an ongoing source of reward (ajr) for him, In shaa Allah. Every prayer offered, every surah recited, and every act of worship performed within its walls will benefit him as a form of sadaqah jariyah.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“When a person dies, all his deeds come to an end except three: Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.”

(Sahih Muslim)

Allah SWT said:

"A grain of corn which grows seven ears, and each ear has a hundred grains" [Qur'an, 2:261].
