Sadaqah Jariyah For Omar

Asalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakutuh. I’m raising money on behalf of my cousin, Maryan Ali. She tragically lost her oldest son on August 27th. During this pandemic, this family has lost several family members. The money we collect will go towards

building water wells in rural areas in East Africa Insha’Allah. We will also distribute copies of Qur’ans to the masjids back home so that Omar Insha’Allah can benefit from these deeds.

I am falling short of words to express my deep sorrow for my nephew Omar's sudden and tragic death. Our hearts are completely shattered, and there are no amount of words to describe the pain our family is going through. Omar was 16 years old, a young man with a bright future ahead of him. So many loved him; he had a kind heart and infectious laugh that will be greatly missed. He completed our family, and nothing will ever be the same now that he's gone.

May Allah Swt have mercy on him, forgive and pardon him for his sins and grant him jannatul firdous Aameen thummma Aameen. I ask you all to keep him and our family in your sincerest duas and to please donate whatever you can to go towards setting up charity on his behalf Insha’Allah .

On the authority of Abu Hurairah (ra) that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said, ‘When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him’. (Muslim)

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another but that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah but that Allah raises his status.”
