Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un (To Allāh we belong, and to him we shall return).

On Sunday 19th December 2021, we lost our dear brother, son and friend Najiib Luutu who passed away in his sleep at the young age of 25.

Najiib is fondly remembered by those in his community and had many friends young and elderly. He was kind, thoughtful, outgoing and full of life. Everyone who knew Najiib, knew how much of a giving and selfless human being he was. He will truly be missed and his passing is a big loss to us all.

My family and I invite you all to take part in the sadaqah jaariyah (ongoing charity) of our brother Najiib. The money raised will be used to start a charitable project in his name which will help to continue his good deeds after his passing.

The prophet Muhammed (ﷺ) said: “When the human being dies, his deeds end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him." [Source: Sahih Muslim]
