Sadaqah Jariyah for my Father Mohamed Nuuh

إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

(Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return.)

On the 20th February 2025, my courageous father passed away after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. My father was an amazing person, who was so selfless in everything he did. He always put others before himself and never once did he have anything bad to say about anyone. He has always been my role model and I hope to follow his footsteps one day In shaa Allah.

I loved my dad so much and so I'm here today in hopes that even after his passing, he can still benefit from this kind act. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity); knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him". (Muslim)

As we know, life doesn't stop at death in Islam. To further his journey in the afterlife and accrue righteous deeds - I would love to initiate a way of Sadaqah Jariyah for my dad in the means of a Solar Community Water Well built in his name.
