Sadaqah Jariyah for my beloved father Mohamed.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
(May the peace and mercy of Allah be with you).

On Sunday the 14th July, Our beloved father, Mohamed Aw-Abdi Sheikh Muxumed, returned to his creator. Leaving behind myself and my two sisters. Our father, May Allah forgive him and widen his grave, was a pillar within his community. Unity and togetherness were values that were very dear to him and that he preached endlessly.

Unfortunately behind his smile, our father was suffering with various health conditions. From diabetes, hypertension and kidney failure. Despite going through such hardship, our kind father never once complained nor wanted any of his family to worry.

Sadly, 6 weeks prior to my father’s passing he was informed with devastating news. His beloved brother and best friend Hersi
Aw-Abdi Sheikh Muxumed, may Allah forgive him, had passed away. Upon hearing such calamitous news, my fathers condition seemed to take a turn for the worse and his health began to deteriorate rapidly. A week after his brother’s passing our father was admitted into hospital, in which he was told his kidney’s were shutting down therefore he was on dialysis ultimately up until his passing.

My family and I have decided to come together to set up a go fund me in the name of my father, Mohamed. Insha’Allah we hope to raise funds for Sadaqa Jariya (continues charity). Insha’Allah with your generous contributions we plan to donate to mosques in rural areas so that these mosques can buy copies of the Quran, improve its general facilities ranging from Wudu’ areas and carpets.

insha’Allah any donations would be much appreciated, and if that’s not possible a simple share would also be appreciated. May Allah (SWT) reward you for your generosity and accept this act of charity as Sadaqah Jariyah on his behalf. May Allah forgive all of my father's shortcomings and grant him an eternal home in Jannah. Ameen
