Mohammed Hashim a son, a brother, uncle, a friend and an inspiration to us all amongst many other things. Taken away from us so abruptly, we say Alhamdulilah for all the good times we were fortunate enough to share with him in his short 18 years.
A day with Mohammed was enough to make you fall in love with him over and over again, his energy and his smile was infectious and could light up any room. His presence was one felt by us all and anyone who was fortunate enough to meet him can vouch for this. He had great potential in this world which was snatched away from him, but surely Allah is the best of planners and this was his time. He was greatly loved and cherished by us all and he will continue to live amongst us and we will honour him in everything we do.
Tuesday 7th April 2020, a dark day for everyone who knew him, Mohammed was involved in a motorway accident and his soul returned to his creator. Inna ilillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. “Indeed we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return”.
Mohammed is my younger brother, my baby, my love. I watched him grow from a baby into a young man, I even teased him about how I changed his nappy, fed him and showered him with all my love. My baby brother for life. You might have been younger than me, but you still stood up for me, protected me and took care of me. I will never stop speaking your name, my mind will never stop thinking about you. You are my world and I will miss you but I pray that we meet again in paradise. May Allah give you the highest ranks of Jannah. Allah has a plan for us all. Words will never describe how truly good of a man he was to me and my family.
We hope you will help us to raise this amount to pay for 7 community wells all around the world in Mohammed’s name, built by Muslim Hands. There are 7 places available to build the wells; Gambia, Mali, Niger, Pakistan, Senegal, Somalia and Sudan and we want build one in each country inshaAllah. This is an act of sadaqah jariyah, and we pray that it will be accepted as reward for my brother. “The messenger of Allah (SAW) asked, “Which charity is best?” He replied, “Providing water”. (Abu Dawud). The gift of water will save thousands of lives and we pray Allah will accept it in face of his sins and forgive him.
