As-Salaam-Alaikum,

Inna Lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un.

On Friday morning on the 19th of August, we lost our beautiful sister Marian Sharmarke Ismail. Marian was dearly loved, cherished and precious to our whole family. 

Her energy, love and laugh touched so many people's hearts. She was very tough, a fighter and never let life get the best of her. She was a daughter, sister, aunt and a cousin to many. We shall remember the memories we shared with her for the rest of our lives. Everyone who knew Marian, knew how much of a loving and caring human being she was. Her passing has left a huge hole in each of our hearts. Marian will be truly missed & forever loved. 

The prophet Muhammed (SAW) said: “When a person dies, all their deeds end except three; a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge and a righteous child who prays for them. 

The money raised will be utilised to build a water well in her honour. This will aid in providing those in need with safe water. Please share and give whatever you can, no matter how little, so that we can assist our sister in getting the benefits of this sadaqah.

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “The earth on the Day of Resurrection will be scorching, except for the shadow of a believer, for verily his charity will serve him as shade.”

May Allah grant her the highest rank in Jannah. I ask that you keep my parents and the rest of our family in your duas as this is a very painful time for us all.
