Sadaqah jariyah for Sharif

Salam all, we are looking to raise funds to be used as a form of sadaqah jariyah for our beloved Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Brother and Friend, Sharif who holds a special place in all of our hearts. Our initial target is to raise £1,250 towards a Well to be built in his name, and any additional donations will go towards other projects.

Sadaqah jariyah is an ongoing charity. It is one of the most rewarding deeds, since we can gain reward for it while we are alive and after we have passed. We pray Allah accepts the sadaqah jariyah and that the rewards weigh heavy on the scale for Mama Sharif in the hereafter.

Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon Him) said:

“When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge and a child who prays for them.” (Muslim)
