The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: "When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)."

Sahih Muslim 1631

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: "Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another except that Allah increases his honour, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises his status."

Inna Lillahi wa inna Ilayhi Raji’un

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved father and grandfather, Mostafa Uddin, who peacefully returned to his Lord (SWT) on the night of Wednesday, 23rd April 2025, at the age of 72, surrounded by his loved ones. He fought bravely against cancer and a perforated bowel until his final moments. May Allah (SWT) grant him the highest rank in Jannah and forgive his shortcomings.

Our father was a gentle and humble soul, devoted to his family, his friends, and above all, his faith. Whether it was through reading the Qur’an, performing his daily prayers without fail, or simply offering a kind word and warm smile to those around him, he lived a life full of sincerity and love. He brought joy to every gathering and treated strangers with the same kindness he showed to his closest family.

He believed in living simply — just as we enter this world and as we hope to return to our Creator. His presence brought comfort, and his absence is deeply felt.

To honour his memory and continue the good he brought into this world, our family has set up this Sadaqah Jariyah fundraiser. With your help, we hope to raise £6,000 to support meaningful causes close to his heart:

• Contribution towards building of a Masjid in Bangladesh or Africa

• Sponsorship of orphan children to become Hafiz of the Qur’an

• Installation of water wells in areas of need in Bangladesh or Africa
