In loving memory of our dear grandmother, who returned to her Lord, Hajjah Gulshan Jan Khan. We are raising funds to build a water well — a lasting source of benefit for those in need, and an ongoing act of charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) in her name.

The Messenger of Allah (saw) was asked, “Which charity is best?” He replied, “[Providing] water”’. [Abu Dawud]

Water is a gift from Allah and a source of life for all His creation. In Islam, providing clean water is one of the most beloved forms of charity. The reward for giving water is immense and continuous, especially when it benefits entire communities.

Our goal is to raise funds to construct a water well in an area where access to clean and safe water is limited. This well will serve as a source of ease and sustenance for many — children, families, and future generations — and in turn, serve as a continuous stream of reward for our grandmother in the hereafter, InshaAllah. This donation will be used to build pumps in Pakistan, first hand. 

Your contribution, no matter how small, is a form of Sadaqah Jariyah — a beautiful way to honour a soul that has returned to Allah and to gain reward for yourself and your loved ones.

May Allah accept this effort, grant our grandmother the highest place in Jannah, and reward all who contribute abundantly in this life and the next. Ameen.
