Alhamdulillah, I am creating this GoFundMe in memory of my beloved auntie’s parents, Mohammed Hanif and Shamim Akhtar Hanif, who have sadly returned to Allah ﷻ. May Allah forgive them, grant them the highest ranks in Jannah al-Firdaus, make their graves spacious and filled with light, and reunite them with their loved ones under His mercy.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.” (Muslim)

This fundraiser is dedicated to them as a form of sadaqah jariyah, so that every penny donated will continue to benefit them in the Hereafter, insha’Allah.

A Message from Ayaan (Age 9, Edinburgh):

Assalamu Alaikum, my name is Ayaan. I am 9 years old and I live in Edinburgh. I am doing this fundraiser for Mohammed Hanif and Shamim Akhtar Hanif, who have passed away. I hope Allah gives them Jannah and makes them happy, insha’Allah.

I feel very sad for the children and families in Gaza because they don’t have enough food, water, or safe homes. I want to help them. The Prophet ﷺ taught us to help people, and even though I am small, I know I can make a difference. Please help by donating and sharing.

The people of Gaza are in desperate need of food, clean water, shelter, and medical aid. By donating, you are not only helping them survive and rebuild, but also giving sadaqah on behalf of Mohammed Hanif and Shamim Akhtar Hanif — an act we pray Allah accepts and rewards abundantly.
