SADAQAH JARIYAH FOR FAY (Farhia Abdiqadir Yusuf)

Farhia Abdiqadir Yusuf (Fay) unfortunately, lost her life on March 4, 2023 due to senseless gun violence. She was a kind, genuine, loving soul with the most vibrant energy that can make anyone’s day. Fay has always been the Noor (Light) of our Ummah. Her presence truly touched many hearts and she had a beautiful way of impacting many souls. You can't help but wonder and ask why someone would be so terrible to do such a horrific crime to an innocent human being in the face of horrifying life-altering circumstances like this. We all want answers that we may never receive. Fay has now returned to her creator Allah The All-Knowing. All We can do is put our trust and faith in Allah swt. We plan but Allah swt is the best of planners.

Farhia was the most happiest soul, anytime you see her she would have the biggest smile on her face. And you couldn’t help but smile. She gave the best hugs and heartwarming 

kisses to her loved ones. She was a daughter, a sister, an aunt a best friend and most importantly an innocent loving human being who lost her life due to senseless gun violence.

We ask to anyone reading this, if you can try to help during this time of need in donating to funeral and charity costs.She worked so hard in providing her beloved mother and nephew and sister and father whatever she could she always made sure they were good. Inshallah if we can all come together and help them out it would be a great help in lifting some weight off their shoulders. Anything helps. May you be rewarded for your efforts.

Sadaqah Jariyah is a long-term act of generosity that earns Allah (SWT) continued gratitude. When a person passes away, all of their acts that would give them good or bad deeds cease, with the exception of three, according to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): (1) a kid who prays for them, (2) helpful knowledge, and (3) continuing act of charity.And with the funds raised we wish to help establish a continuous act of charity on behalf of our beloved Farhia Abdiqadir Yusuf

Dua: We pray to Allah (SWT) to pardon Farhia Abdiqadir Yusuf and raise her status among the righteous. We pray Allah (SWT) forgives her and bestows mercy upon her and send her on the road of the righteous who have gone before us.

We ask the Lord of the worlds to enlarge and illuminate her grave. “Oh Allah accept her into Paradise as her eternal home, and spare her the torments of the grave. Oh Allah, give her loved ones patience and give them the strength and Iman to endure this traumatic loss. May you replace their pain with peace and replace their suffering with remembrance of his love for them and bring happiness upon them.” Ameen

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un “Verily we belong to God, and verily to Him do we return.” May Allah SWT have eternal mercy on Farhia Yusuf and reunite her with her family in Jannah,
