Sadaqah Jariyah for Farina Javaid

Inna lillaahi wa inna ilayhi raaji'oon
(To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return).

On the 24th of July 2025 our beloved mother, Farina Javaid, returned to her Creator at the young age of 47. Her passing has left a deep and unimaginable void in our hearts — but through this page, we hope to honour her legacy with the kind of love, strength, and selflessness she gave to all of us throughout her life.

Our mother was the heart of our family, a woman of deep faith, endless patience, and quiet strength. A devoted wife, a loving daughter, a caring sister, and a selfless mother to three children, she built our home on love, sacrifice, and unwavering compassion. Her life revolved around caring for others by putting everyone's needs before her own, even in illness.

We are raising funds in her name for Sadaqah Jariyah — a form of continuous charity that benefits the deceased even after they leave this world. The donations raised will go towards:

  • Building a school in a rural village through Al Mustafa Trust, at a cost of £6,000. Education was something our mother valued deeply — she believed that every child, regardless of their circumstances, deserved the chance to learn, grow, and build a better future. Through this school, insha’Allah, her passion for helping children will live on for decades to come.

  • Installing filtered water systems in deprived villages, bringing safe, clean drinking water to communities in need

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: "When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)."
— Sahih Muslim 1631

We kindly request you to recite this dua for our beloved mother:

Arabic: اللهم اغفر لها وارحمها وأدخلها الجنة

Transliteration: Allahumma ighfir laha warhamha wa adkhilha al-jannah.

Meaning: O Allah, forgive her, have mercy on her, and admit her into Paradise.

May Allah (SWT) grant our mother the highest rank in Jannatul Firdous, forgive her shortcomings, and grant patience and strength to all who are grieving her loss. Ameen.
