Sadaqah Jariyah for Amirah Witten

Asalamwalaykum everyone,

Amirah Witten passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2022, and her family wants to start a donation to help her continue to receive good deeds on her behalf. We want to raise money for an electrical water well that provides access to clean water for drinking, washing and cooking for families in need. We are donating to Muslim Hands, and any donations will go a long way.

Sadaqah Jariyah is a long-term kindness that accrues ongoing rewards from Allah (SWT).

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge and a child who prays for them.” (Muslim)

When someone decides to build a well as an act of Sadaqah Jariyah, they are rewarded for the act. But they are rewarded every time someone or something uses or drinks from the well. Donate Sadaqah Jariyah, and you can accrue rewards from Allah (SWT) beyond your lifetime.
