To him we belong, and to him we shall return.
We are raising money for our beloved father, Ahmed Abdulgader Al-Ansari, who has passed away may Allah swt have mercy on his soul. ِAnyone that knew him knew how much of a pure soul he was, he dedicated his life to Islam and gaining knowledge on the deen and also ensuring the people around him never neglected their deen as this world is only temporary and our reward is in the hereafter. May Allah swt reward him for his efforts and make it a means for his entrance into the highest ranks of Jannah. He was also director of the charity 'Wafa relief' and used to travel all over the world helping the needy and we aim to do the same for him insha'Allah by donating to causes that will reward him in his grave and hereafter.
We are aiming to raise funds and choose multiple causes to donate to on his behalf as sadaqah jariyah bithin'Allah. Always remember that sadaqah never decreases from your wealth but in fact increases you in provision and that any amount can be sadaqah no matter how small.
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “When the human being dies, his deeds end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.” - Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1631
"Spend (in charity) out of the sustenance that We have bestowed on you before that time when death will come to someone, and he shall say: "O my Lord! If only you would grant me reprieve for a little while, then I would give in charity, and be among the righteous." - The Holy Quran, 63:10
Bithin'Allah the money raised will go to building well in any chosen organisation, contributing to building mosques and orphanages etc.
