As-Salaam-Alaikum,

 

Inna Lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un. May Allah grant him the highest level of Jannah.

 

On April 16, 2022 we lost a father, brother, husband, cousin and a friend--Abdulhafize Abdulahi. He was so kind and made a difference in everyone's life; he gave great advice to family and friends, made us smile and laugh, and never spoke negatively about anyone. We miss him dearly and he leaves behind so many who loved him. In addition to praying for him, we would also like to contribute to a charity in his name.

 

Abdulhafize was born in Harar, Ethiopia and spent his adolescence in Hargeisa, Somalia. He was proud of his upbringing and embraced being raised in both countries before migrating to DC. He has always wanted to help people in need and often looked for ways to help the people in the places he called home. To continue the good deeds of his life, we will work with the Amoud Foundation, and the money raised from this GoFundme will be used to build two water wells in his name in both countries. This fundraiser will help provide clean water to those in need and honor the life of a man who gave so much of himself to others. Please share and donate anything you can, especially as we are now in the last ten days of Ramadan. May Allah reward you all for your efforts.
