Allah ﷻ says in the Qur’an Al Kareem:

“مَّن ذَا ٱلَّذِى يُقْرِضُ ٱللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا فَيُضَٰعِفَهُ لَهُ أَضْعَافًا كَثِيرَةً”

“Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over?”

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“إِذَا مَاتَ ابْنُ آدَمَ انْقَطَعَ عَنْهُ عَمَلُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ ثَلَاثٍ: صَدَقَةٍ جَارِيَةٍ…”

“When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah)…”
