A Life Of Purity. A Legacy That Will Live On.
Renovation of a Mosque in Bangladesh.
We are raising funds in loving memory of our beloved sister Tasnia Ali, who returned to her Creator at just 19 years old after spending 8 months in hospital fighting a rare and devastating illness.
She was diagnosed with Haemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) — an extremely rare, life-threatening immune disorder in which the immune system becomes overactive and attacks the body’s own organs. HLH affects approximately 1 in 50,000 people and is incredibly difficult to diagnose and treat.
She lived her entire life with Dystonic Cerebral Palsy, a lifelong disability that caused her body to experience involuntary muscle contractions and twisting movements in addition to limited speech and capacity.
Despite not being of sound mind, she had the purest heart, known for her radiant smile, her gentle nature, and the joy she brought to everyone around her. She was loved everywhere she went and left such a positive impact on all around her.
She endured more hardship than most face in a lifetime, yet did so with patience and dignity. In her final moments, she raised her finger in the position of the Shahaadah, despite not understanding the concept of Islam, Subhan'Allah! A moment that deeply moved everyone present. We believe she passed away In'Shaa'Allah as a Shahid (Martyr).
All funds raised will go towards Ṣadaqah Jāriyah in her name, so that her legacy continues to bring benefit and reward long after her passing.
We aim to renovate a mosque in her name in Bangladesh. This mosque is extremely run down and has a severe lack of space for congregational prayers and essential Islamic education. It is also situated in an area where there is either no nearby mosque at all, or the existing ones are too far for local residents to reach easily. This project will provide a much‑needed place of worship and learning for the people who rely on it.
We remember the profound promise that “charity does not decrease wealth", rather, it purifies it and brings a blessing to both the giver and the receiver.
