Sadaqah Jariya Well For A Beloved Grandfather

Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim in the name of Allah, the Most Gracious the Most Merciful.

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

I hope this finds you all well In Sha Allah.

I am raising funds on behalf of my beloved nana who sadly passed away in ramadan 2023. A week before Eid. This ramadan I would like to build a well as sadaqah jariya on his behalf so he may reap the rewards of it in his grave as well as the akhirah. This will not only be beneficial for him but shall be beneficial for me and everyone else who donates during this special month.

A little about my nana :)

Sadly back in bangladesh during the 50s/60s they were not able to medically diagnose someone with autism. My sweet miskeen nana was somewhere on the spectrum. Growing up we didn’t have a regular nana. He was someone who was very childlike and had the mental capacity of a 5year old or younger. He wasn't able to look after himself and did not have any understandings of family or faith. He only knew and had a love for food that tasted amazing and laughter with those around him. People at the Masjid/community would treat him like they would a person of disability or like a young child. It was very hard growing up for us as a family because nana was first priority in everything we would do. As you can imagine you are looking after a someone who has the mentality of a child but in a grown adults body, it was extremely hard at times but was 100% worth it for us to serve and love him as much as possible.

Nana was someone who didnt understand much but loved everyone around him and would always talk to everyone like they are family or friends. He sadly had other medical illnesses such as kidney and liver disease, had a pacemaker and would regularly get hypoglycaemia due to the severity of his diabetes. He was partially blind and deaf which as you can imagine took a huge toll not only on himself but everyone around him.

This Ramadan, I would love to raise funds on his behalf so he may enjoy the blessings of it in his grave aswell as it being a means for saqadah jariya for us too.

The benefits of Sadaqah in Islam are limitless. As a mercy to humanity, Allah (SWT) has provided us with several possibilities to receive recompense for every good deed performed in order to benefit the earth and everything that is in it, for His (SWT) sake.

“The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was the most generous of the men; and he was the most generous during the month of Ramadan when Jibril visited him every night and recited the Qur’an to him. During this period, the generosity of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) waxed faster than the rain bearing wind.” (Bukhari & Muslim)

“Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.” (Tirmidhi)

Kindly please donate however little you can and also keep my loving nana in your precious duas. May Allah reward you all for your generosity and may you reap the rewards of it in this dunya and the akhirah. May it also be a means for Jannah to be written for each and every one of you.

Lastly Ramadan Mubarak, may this month bring you and you family closer to Allah SWT and grant you all the success, peace, contentment, happiness and good health! May your tears of sadness and sorrow be replaced with tears of happiness and joy. Aswell as all your problems seize to exist and of course may all your duas be accepted with haste and khayr. Ameen!
