Assalamu Alaikum. My name is Ali Rehman, and I am reaching out to honor the memory of my best friend, Najeeb.

Najeeb and I grew up together; he was more than a friend, he was my brother. At just 26 years young, the provider who worked tirelessly to take care of his family. A person that never troubled anyone but brought laughter and left smiles wherever he goes.

On the night of Friday, April 10th, Najeeb’s life was cruelly taken in a senseless act of violence. While walking home from work on Prince’s Street, Doncaster, he was the victim of a hit-and-run. He was an innocent man simply trying to get home.

As we navigate this heartbreak and wait for justice to be served, we want to ensure Najeeb’s legacy lives on and that his family is not left to struggle in his absence.

Where Your Donations Will Go

Sadaqah Jariyah (Ongoing Charity): The funds will be used to start a charitable project in Najeeb’s name (such as building a water well, Donating 100 Qurans, etc). This will ensure that he continues to receive rewards and blessings in the Hereafter, Insha'Allah.

The remainder of the funds will go directly to his family as they try to rebuild their lives without him.
