Salaam Wa Alaikum and Ramadan Kareem,

Last year, by the grace of Allah and with your generosity, we were able to raise over 10 thousand dollars and build a portion of a solar panel water project through Islamic Relief, for the poor and destitute, in honour of Javed & Ahmed mama. May Allah grant both souls Janathul- Firdos.

This year, we will continue the tradition of raising money in honour of those who have passed in order to help them in the hereafter and provide a means of Sadaqah Jariya; This means that it will be a continuing charity that will benefit and earn eternal rewards InshAllah

Abdul Ghani Khan was a son, brother, loving husband, uncle and friend. He left us late in December 2021 after fighting a long and tough battle with diabetes and multiple heart conditions. He was kind, very hard-working, was keen on detail and was incredibly funny. He often could say something to make you laugh and made sure to match his outfit with his wife’s, Aisha mami.

This Ramadan, Let's honour Ghani mama and set a goal to raise $5,000 as a means of ongoing charity, while also reaping the benefits of Ramadan in the act of giving toward this cause.

All the money will be donated to Actions For Humanity (https://actionforhumanity.org/) An organization that provides aid and assistance to people affected by natural and man-made disasters. Often leaving behind the most vulnerable (Orphans and Widows) in crisis situations facing extreme poverty, conflict and disasters.

Since this month offers us the benefit of plentiful blessings and rewards, I encourage you to donate to this cause to help alleviate the struggles of the less fortunate, while also, being a means of Sadaqah Jariyah for Ghani mama.
