Sadaqa Jaariya for Fatuma Abdi

As we approach nearly 10 years since her passing, we lovingly remember our dear Fatuma Abdi — a daughter, sister, and friend whose kindness, generosity, and beautiful character left a lasting mark on everyone who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, her name still lives in our hearts and her legacy continues through the good she inspired.

Alhamdulillah, in 2021 we were blessed to complete a water well as ongoing sadaqah jariyah in her name.

This Ramadan, we are organizing another sadaqah jariyah in honour and memory of Fatuma by providing food to the refugees in the same camp she was born in— Hagadera Refugee Camp.

It costs $70 to feed a family of five for one month, we’re aiming to raise enough money for at least 50 families insha’Allah. We invite her friends and family to come together and give in her honor. Whatever you can offer is very much appreciated, please share to all her friends and loved ones.

We pray that every donation given in Fatuma’s name becomes a source of ongoing reward for her and a means of mercy and blessing for all who give. May Allah accept it from us all and reunite us with our loved ones in Jannah.
