On the 23/01/2021 Our beloved father Hafiz Mohammed Amin Memi returned to his lord after battling covid 19.
Our father was a selfless, humble and kind man whom left a presence due to his character and personality. He underwent the most huge amount of trials in his life that I’ve ever known someone to go through and still he remained patient throughout all adversity. Sabr was his key personality. Even when the whole world felt like crashing down on him. Through all the messages of condolences I have received from people, they would describe him as ‘gentle’ and that is who he was. He was such an example to all, despite everything he had gone through and this is merely the least we can give back to him. To a man who walked so humbly on this earth, who lived with such little and so simple and who sacrificed a whole lot for his children.
Our dad, was not only the greatest father, he also contributed to the community and upbringing of so many children. He had dedicated nearly his entire life to the Arabic study of young children. He has worked in mosques teaching children in India, Birmingham and London. He was a teacher and a teacher that many students will remember of for times to come insha’Allah.
As children, our hearts are really broken and after all his pain he endured on this earth, we know that we can only find comfort in sending acts of good to him such as this one. By helping him through helping others in need.
For when we leave this world we are only left with people on this earth who will remember us and pray for us. When we leave this world all good deeds from the person come to an end except for 3:
- sadaqah jaaria (continued charity)
- beneficial knowledge given to someone
- children that pray for him
In his honor and to help him in his afterlife we have set up this page to collect contributions for sadaqah jaaria (ongoing charity) projects.
Our aim for now is to build a few water pumps to help those who don’t have access to clean water and with any extra money, this will go towards another Charity project i/A.
Not only will this help our father as ongoing charity in his name but will help those in the community who are needy. Those who didn’t have the simple access to clean water. We ask Allahthat he makes this a form of sadaqah jaaria for you with your contribution and may Allah reward you too.
Every little donation if you are able to give within your means helps our dad in his abode and us as a family. And for every person who gives will also share a portion of the reward too insha’Allah. The reward in giving doesn’t reduce from the giver.
Please keep our family and my dad in your most precious of prayers. May Allah forgive his sins and expand his grave into a vast garden of paradise. May it be filled with light and may he finally be at peace. May he be granted the highest abode in jannah(paradise) and to be alongside the other believing souls. (Please send him Surah ikhlas x3 )
