Assalāmualaykum everyone.

My friend’s mother passed away yesterday, and the family is currently preparing for her burial. We are raising funds to help ease the financial burden during this very difficult time. To all my brothers and sisters it is still the month of Ramadan so I ask that you give generously for the sake of Allah, and may your reward be with him, we are going to help a sister in need give her mother the burial she rightfully deserves. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized the importance of caring for one another. In an authentic Hadith from Sahih Muslim 2586, he said, “The believers, in their mutual kindness, compassion, and mercy, are like a body. When one part suffers, the whole body feels the pain.”

This teaches us about the deep connection we share, when one person is in distress, we should feel that and respond with love and support. Also, we are reminded to help each other by offering advice, being there in times of need, and showing compassion.

Any amount you are able to give will truly make a difference and would be deeply appreciated. If you are unable to donate, please keep her and her family in your dua. May Allah have mercy on her, expand her grave, grant her Jannatul Firdaus, and reward everyone who helps as a form of ongoing sadaqah.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهَا وَارْحَمْهَا، وَعَافِهَا وَاعْفُ عَنْهَا، وَأَكْرِمْ نُزُلَهَا، وَوَسِّعْ مُدْخَلَهَا، وَاغْسِلْهَا بِالْمَاءِ وَالثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ، وَنَقِّهَا مِنَ الْخَطَايَا كَمَا نَقَّيْتَ الثَّوْبَ الأَبْيَضَ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ

Allahummaghfir laha warhamha

wa afiha wa’fu anha wa akrim nuzulaha, wa wassi’ mudkhalaha

waghsilha bil-ma’i wath-thalji wal-barad, wa naqaha minal khathaya kama naqqaytath thawbal abyada minad danas

O Allah, forgive her and have mercy on her, grant her peace and pardon her. Honor her resting place and make her grave spacious. Wash her with water, snow, and ice and cleanse her of her sins as a white garment is cleansed of stains.
