Nidal – Help Our Family Survive in Gaza

My name is Nidal, and I am reaching out with a heart full of fear, hope, and faith. I am asking for your support to help my family survive in Gaza, where life has become almost impossible. Your kindness has already meant so much to us, and today, your help could be the reason our family makes it through another day.

Our home is sheltering 15 people — 9 children and 6 adults — all trying to survive conditions no family should ever face. The youngest child in our family was born during this genocide, entering the world with no safety, no stability, and no access to basic care. We also care for our elderly mother, who is very sick and urgently needs medication and proper rest.

Our Reality Today

Everything around us has been destroyed.

There is no food, no clean water, no medical care, and no functioning hospitals. The places that once gave life — bakeries, clinics, schools, markets — are gone. Even when we search for help, there is nowhere left to go.

We often go days with almost nothing to eat. The children cry from hunger, and we have no way to comfort them. Our sick mother cannot receive treatment because every medical center has been destroyed. The newborn has no access to proper nutrition or supplies. Clean water is nearly impossible to find, and every day we fear illness because there is no medical support available.

We have been displaced multiple times, carrying only what we can hold. Each time we move, we pray we will find a corner of safety, but safety no longer exists here. The children sleep in fear, and the adults try to stay strong even when hope feels fragile.
