Sadaqa jariya Mohamoud Dahir Hassan

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Today, we gather with heavy hearts to remember a soul so pure, a light that will forever shine in our hearts—Mohamoud. He was a loved son, brother and uncle. His life was a testament to the beauty of kindness and the warmth of a genuine smile that never seemed to fade.

Mohamoud touched the lives of many with his compassion and selflessness. His spirit was a source of comfort, and his smile, a reflection of the pure goodness that resided within him. In times of joy and adversity alike, he stood resilient, spreading positivity and love.

In the words of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), 'When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who prays for him.' [Sahih Muslim]

Today, as we mourn Mohamoud's physical absence, let us celebrate the legacy he leaves behind. I invite you to contribute to a sadaqa jariya, a continuous charity, in Mohamoud's honor. This act of kindness aligns with the teachings of our Prophet (peace be upon him) and serves as a means of ongoing blessings for him in the Hereafter.

May Allah, the Most Merciful, shower His infinite mercy upon Mohamoud, grant him peace, and elevate his soul to the highest ranks of paradise. Let us remember him not with sorrow, but with gratitude for the time we shared and the love he bestowed upon us.

May Allah accept our prayers, our sadaqa, and may Mohamoud's legacy live on through the positive impact we strive to make in the world.
