Asalamu alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatu,
as some of you may have heard the unfortunate news, our brother Mahad Abdulle passed away last night. This is a shock to the entire family and community, especially the mother who lost her beloved daughter as well a few years ago. Mahad is remembered as a son, an uncle, a friend, an athlete, and above all a Muslim. He loved his family and will be greatly missed.
To offset funeral expenses, and help the family lay him to rest we will be raising money on behalf of them. The money will be used to help both the family, and Mahad himself. We will be building a well for Mahad and his sister Fartune Abdulle so they can share in this sadaqah jariyah together. We hope that this will bring some peace to the families hearts.
The Prophet (salalahu alayhi wa salam) said: Verily the eyes shed tears and the heart grieves. But we will not say except that which is pleasing to our Lord.
May Allah grant patience to the family, grant them ease and strength and unite them in an eternal abode. We ask that you keep the family in your duas.
