Sadae's college fundraiser

Dear friends, supporters, and potential donors,

I am writing to share my educational journey and ask for your support in pursuing my dreams. My name is Sadae Naidoo, and I am currently pursuing my degree in political science in the United States to expand my horizons and gain a world-class education that I can bring back to South Africa, my home country, to make a positive change.

Studying in the United States has been an incredible opportunity for me to explore my passion for political science. I was fortunate to be accepted to the University of Rhode Island with a scholarship, for which I am incredibly grateful. However, the total cost of my education amounts to $45,000 per year, and despite the scholarship, there is still a significant financial gap that I need to overcome. As an international student, I face the challenge of paying triple the tuition fees of domestic students and I do not qualify for federal aid or any loans. This financial burden has become a hurdle on my path to success. I am reaching out to my network of supporters, friends, and kind-hearted individuals who believe in the power of education to make a difference in the world.

I have a strong belief in the transformative power of education and a burning passion to implement positive change wherever I can. My heart is set on bringing the knowledge and skills I acquire in the United States back to South Africa, where I can contribute to my home country's development and make a lasting impact. My future goals include establishing rehabilitation centers for abused women and children as well as getting involved in South African politics. Education is not only an investment in my future but also an investment in the future of my community.

I am committed to maintaining my excellent academic performance with a 3.9 GPA and have achieved the honor of being on the dean’s list for the past three semesters; I assure you that your contributions will be used directly to pay for my tuition, books, and medical insurance, ensuring that I can continue my studies without financial strain and can focus on my studies. My go fund me goal is set at $30000 which is the total outstanding cost for the next 1 year after deducting my merit-based scholarship and parents’ support.

Throughout my life, I have been dedicated to volunteering and making a difference. Wherever I have lived, I have continued my efforts to positively impact the world around me. With your support, I can continue this journey and amplify the impact I can make through the power of education.

Their guidance, support, and advice have been invaluable, and I am truly humbled by the kindness and generosity I have experienced.
