Christopher Chandler, the boy with a smile that not only lit a room but an entire stadium sadly lost his very brave fight on the 5th of June, 2017.
Taken at only 12 years old, Chris had put up the most amazing fight for 4 years with his parents, Anita and Colin by his side every single day. During this time Chris spent very long periods in hospital having many procedures including Bone Marrow and Stem Cell transplants, chemotheraphy and radiation just to name a few. In addition to his long stays in PMH he had to also attend continual specialist appointments in the city throughout this four year period.
Chris always had a smile on his face even in the darkest of his days. He loved catching up with friends at school and he was passionate about Soccer, both as a player and a supporter.
Anita and Colin have not been able to work due to their devotion to their much loved son. The reason for setting up this page is to assist with the financial burden they now face. If you can donate to assist Anita and Colin during this extremely difficult time it would be greatly appreciated.
All funds raised will go towards Chris’s funeral expenses.
