Back in July, with all of our summer gigs cancelled and not a whole lot to do but sweat it out and wait for cooler weather, Sad Daddy holed up for a few weekends at Brian's lake shack outside of Heber Springs on the shores of Greers Ferry. We got some songs together, called up our good buddy and master of the sounds Jordan Trotter, and commenced to record 14 new tracks of that folky, juggy, bluegrass mishmash you know as Sad Daddy. Some tunes are brand new, some are older than Sad Daddy itself; and we even threw in an old a cappella number by Leadbelly for good measure.
Fast forward 6 months or so, and having finished all overdubs, we are ready to begin the process of mixing, mastering, and releasing this new material to the world. That's where you come in. To do this right, we are asking for your support. Our goal is to raise $10,000 by mid-March in order to have the album ready for digital release over the summer, and packaged in CD and vinyl (VINYL!!) form ready to sell at our shows whenever we can get back to live performance in earnest.
For any donation of $30 or more, we will mail you a CD of the new album when it's completed. For any donation of $60 or more, we will mail you a vinyl record of the album. For any large donation of $2000 or more, we will play a house concert for you whenever it is safe to do so. (We can play outdoor events of course.) We really cannot make this album a reality without you, so please help us bring this music to life and get it out there in the world.

Obviously, 2020 has been a difficult year to be musicians and we seriously couldn't make all of this happen without the support of our friends, family, and fans. We are grateful that this year has allowed us to have extra time to get together as a band, write some songs together, and take extra time to collaborate and make this album. We would love your help to get our music out there!
