We are transitioning to Sacramento for a new job Paris has received as a Nurse Midwife. We love our community in Ventura County, but the opportunity was more than we could pass up. Unfortunately, the process of moving from Ventura to Sacramento has been more complicated than we thought.
We have had to cross many hurdles to make our way to the finish line: Some physical and some financial. At this time we are asking for financial assistance.
This all began before we had fully recovered from the Thomas Fire. In order to make this move we had to do some major home renovations, then sell our current home, rent a new home in Sacramento, pay for two storage units, and find a temporary place to stay until we make the final move up north. Escrow finally closed today 7/6/18
(one hurdle crossed), but we will have to wait 6 to 8 weeks to receive the funds, due to complications we won’t go into here. In addition, the cost of Paris’ new licenses and the costs that go into taking on a new role as a health care provider are just more than we were prepared for. To put it simply, we’re in over our heads and we are really struggling to make ends meet.
If any of our friends and family would like to make a contribution toward Team Bury, we will be forever grateful. Even if you can’t, please know that we love you and we’re honored by your love and friendship!
