I’m Sam Lambert, a director, and I’m looking to gain support for an upcoming short Slasher Horror project, Sackhead, developing alongside Gabriel Youngs and George Rousseau.

Sackhead is inspired by Horror films like Evil Dead, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and 28 Days and Years Later.

The story follows a group of young friends who unwittingly unleash an evil genie, hell-bent on turning their wishes into nightmares. It explores the consequences of selfishness and wishing for something you may not understand.

Our goal is to showcase Norfolk’s creativity by casting local cast and crew, both students and up-and-coming in the industry. Utilising the rural landscapes of North Norfolk, the film will also provide a strong backdrop for this county’s beauty when submitting to festivals. As a region, Norfolk has been greatly underrepresented in the film and TV industry and so we hope this film will give Norfolk the exposure it deserves.

This crowdfunder aims to raise money to cover costs such as special effects, feeding our talented cast & crew, travel and festival submissions.
