“The Lord has called Sabriya home March 7, 2024 5:00am”
This message from Val has deeply affected everyone who knows her. Our thought and prayers are with Sabriya, Mom Val, Dad Keith and Baby Sister Viviana.
Val is one of our beloved friends… her daughter Sabriya passed into the arms of Our Lord this morning.
Sabriya was 2 ½ years old, a princess warrior who was always fun, loving and full of energy.
She lit up the lives of everyone who knew her.
She loved to sing, dance and learn with Ms. Rachel on YouTube.
In October 2023, Sabriya’s mom took her to the ER with breathing issues. Within a week, Val’s little warrior princess was diagnosed with cancer, with multiple masses in her lungs. Sabriya was placed on a ventilator to allow her lungs to rest while she received chemotherapy.
Her family was thrilled to welcome her back home in December… but that happiness was short-lived.
Sabriya was eventually diagnosed with HLH, an extremely rare condition where her body attacks her own organs, nerves and bone marrow.
Sabriya went back in the hospital in February, she was on a ventilator again and was trying to get strong enough for a stem-cell transplant. Sadly, the disease ravaged little Sabriya’s body to the point where God chose to bring her home to Him.
Sabriya, Mom, Dad and 9-month-old baby sister Viviana and are so very thankful for the love and support they have received.
Here's how you can help this loving, grieving family: in addition to Val and Keith taking unpaid leave from their jobs to be by Sabriya’s side, they have also lost their employer-sponsored health insurance. They will incur costs for Sabriya’s memorial service, as well.
We appreciate any and all support you can give.
We hope to help to soften the sharp impact of this devastating loss by raising funds to help this beautiful family have some of the resources they need to celebrate Sabriya’s life and and take the first steps toward healing.
We are asking for love, prayers, shares and, if possible, a financial donation.
Thank you for you kindness..
