Sabrina...a broken leg but not a broken soul .

We have a bit of an urgent situation. Sabrina is at the vets for surgery plans today ! She has waited long enough. I just received the phone call to proceed and that we are committed to taking her.

A young doberman landed in a California shelter with a broken leg. Her chances at adoption were slim to none so Project Kena tagged her for safety. The shelter said that the amputation could be performed in California if she had safe placement. ....and we do. She is looking at surgery and recovery when she can be medically cleared for transport. A wonderful rescue name A Stich In Time Animal Rescue has agreed to get her to safety, take her for surgery and even a take care of keeping her in a safe recovery environment. They also offered to help pay for it but they do not have the over $5,000 and asked if we could help. (Estimate in photos ) .

I know it's a lot to ask , but I told them I would do whatever I could. I did not anticipate another expense on top of the travel expenses for Project Kena that have built up over the last few weeks but I feel like her life is worth it.... And we committed.
