On October 4, 2025, my mother, Sabrina Willis, was tragically taken from us in an act of domestic violence in Douglasville, Georgia. Her passing has left our family, friends, and community heartbroken, but also more determined than ever to honor the incredible life she lived. She was 56 years old and leaves behind me and my two sisters, who are now standing together to carry forward her legacy with the same strength and grace she taught us. My mother was the kind of woman who made a lasting impression on everyone she met. She had a smile that could light up any room, a heart that was always open, and a strength that carried her through life’s hardest moments. She was passionate about family, deeply devoted to us as her daughters, and fiercely committed to building something of her own that reflected her values and vision.
She was the founder and owner of Groomsmen Atlanta, a business that was so much more than just work to her. It was her dream. Her passion. A space where she uplifted others, served her community, and poured in all the love and dedication that made her so special.
Now, in the wake of this unimaginable loss, we are determined to honor her life in the way she deserves. We want to give her a memorial that reflects her spirit, her strength, and her impact, and we are committed to keeping Groomesmen Atlanta alive, not only as her legacy, but as a source of purpose and pride for our family.
We are asking for support from the community she gave so much to. My mother always showed up for the people around her with her time, her talents, and her heart. Your support will help us celebrate her life properly, support our family through this difficult transition, and continue the work she built with love and intention. If you’re not able to give, we ask that you share this and help us tell her story.
Thank you for standing with us, for remembering our mother, and for helping us carry her light forward.
