Wednesday September 23, 2020 about 8:30 pm Sabrina McClellan was involved in a serious ATV accident. She was transported to a local hospital in Americus, GA. They were going to transport her by helicopter, but she was not stable enough. She received multiple units of blood and platelets. She then was transported by helicopter to Navicent Health in Macon, GA. She has suffered multiple injuries throughout her body. She is in a medically induced coma so her body can rest. Her skull is fractured in more than one place and has bleeding from her brain. Right now, the brain bleed and swelling are the most important. When that is taken care of, they will work on her other injuries which include injuries to her spine and neck. She also has multiple broken ribs and a broken clavicle. They were giving her medicine because her blood pressure was low but now they have backed off of that and she is maintaining that on her own. Her heart rate is good, and she is breathing a bit on her own but still is requiring assistance from the machine.
Sabrina is a very strong and strong willed woman. She is always putting others before herself. We KNOW she will recover and come home to her family and friends. We are asking that everyone please keep praying for her return home. She currently does not have any form of medical insurance. If you can and are willing to please consider helping Sabrina and the family cover the cost of some of the medical expenses while they are going through this difficult time and waiting for her to return home so that’s one less thing they have to worry about.
