I, Sabreen Ghanim (Abbas), am communicating with you with an appeal that goes beyond words. Our lives have been torn apart due to the destruction of our house, which houses my mother, father, my brothers Mahmoud and Abdul Hamid, and their families, and the destruction of the homes of my sisters, Heba and Shahd, after toil and hardship by purchasing their homes. They have become destitute of any form of life. The burdens we carry are heavy not only for us, but for my beloved family as well. My father (Youssef Ahmed Abbas) and my mother (Ibtisam Abbas) suffer from chronic diseases - heart disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure - that affect their bodies relentlessly. My father's wife (Amna Abbas) suffers from difficulty moving due to rheumatoid arthritis, high blood pressure and diabetes. My 9-year-old niece, Jana, suffers from a disease in her stomach that has not been diagnosed in Gaza due to the lack of resources, and she must travel abroad, while her mother, Heba, who gave birth during the war amid very harsh conditions, suffers from back problems due to her injuries sustained in the war, and she miraculously survived her destroyed home. The children of my brother Mahmoud and his wife, who have survived death several times, are exacerbated by the urgent need for help due to the infection of hepatitis C among the children.

In Gaza, the fighting continues, disrupting our lives and leaving chaos in its wake. We live in cramped conditions, displaced and destitute, and every day there is a struggle against the circumstances, and we have lost our only source of livelihood. The situation in Gaza is extremely terrifying, and the bombing is everywhere. There is no safe place, no food, no shelter, no life, and no income. Literally, we have returned to zero, and my family is displaced with our relatives in a narrow house, and my brothers are in tents, living a very difficult and harsh life. I swear to God, I cannot comprehend the events that are taking place, but we are satisfied, patient, and resigned. I had no other choice left to stay and search for a living, not just life, because the concept of life has many meanings. We are very grateful for any help you can provide.
