Jacob and Hudson's fight against Duchenne MD
Donation protected
Jacob (8) and Hudson (4) Saalman are both fighting against Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a rare disease caused by a genetic mutation that prevents the body from producing dystrophin, a protein that muscles need to work properly. Without dystrophin, muscle cells become damaged and weaken. Over time, children with Duchenne will develop problems walking and breathing, and eventually the muscles that help them breathe and the heart will stop working.
We are using this fundraiser to raise money that can be used to help fund multiple life enhancing projects, raising awareness of DMD, and to cover expenses incurred when traveling for medical care.
Thank you to anyone who finds it in their heart to assist,
