Hello. We are running this fundraiser to help Saaf Mohalla Saaf Pakistan (Clean Neighborhood, Clean Pakistan), an environmental education and action organization in Islamabad, Pakistan. It is an initiative founded and led by Prof Mehr Nigar, of Air University Islamabad.

We invite you to be a part of Saaf Mohalla Saaf Pakistan (SMSP), a grassroots initiative committed to environmental education and action. Our project, active since 2019, is making a real impact in under-resourced communities, teaching children the essence of environmental conservation.

Our Three-Pronged Strategy: Education, Community Involvement, Upcycling Initiatives.

With a focus on the UN's SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) 1, 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 17, SMSP is actively contributing to climate/environmental justice. The communities we engage with are often the most vulnerable to climate change, yet excluded from critical discussions.

Our Achievements So Far: 600+ Kg Waste Diverted, 550+ Children Empowered

Through the dedication of volunteers and community support, we've diverted over 600 kg of waste from landfills and burning practices. This not only addresses a critical environmental issue but also contributes to health, reducing particulate emissions that lead to winter smog in Pakistan.
