Our trip from Yuma was a trip from HELL!  We stopped at a rest area in Texas and the motor home wouldn't start.  Called road side assistants and 32 hours later we were finally towed into this little jerk water town.  3 days and $4,500 later we were on the road again.  The very next day we stopped at another rest area and again it wouldn't start, Once again we were towed to Sullivan, Mo where another $4,800 and 3 days later we were on the road again. The very day we hit road construction and the stop and go caused the MH to just stop.  We had all sorts of traffic behind us and the Highway patrol called a wrecker for us.  The wrecker driver took us to a Cummings dealer for our Cat motor! They wouldn't work on it so we found a Cat dealer,  but they couldn't work on it for 5 days!  We were only an hour out of Spring Valley , Illinois so Ron drove back and forth for the MWC tournament.  We got towed to the Cat dealer and $6,655 and 8 days later we were on the road again?   We were less than 10 miles from home and AGAIN it just died, AGAIN another tow into Bemidji.  Since we were so close to home we didn't follow the tow truck (our bad) and we just went home.  Yesterday we went to Bemidji to grab some stuff out of the MH. What a shock when we saw it, the muffler was laying on the ground, the tow bar was off and no license plate. When we went inside, what a disaster, everything was in disarray. The doors on our closet were of track and one was broken, everything on our counters were on the floor, and our back slide out wouldn't work. So who knows how much this is going to cost us, and we haven't even fixed the motor. Sounds like it's the long block which is $10,000 PLUS labor!
