For Charlotte

I'm not sure if you're aware, but Mrs. Caraway's one-year-old daughter, Charlotte, has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. I'm not exactly sure of the details, but what I do know is that this isn't fair and no one, let alone a little girl, should have to fight such a dreadful disease. I think that it would be cool if we gathered some money to give to her and her family to help pay for the numerous costs that come with having a child in the hospital fighting cancer. The donations would be from us as Shawnee's Class of 2012. I'm going to create a GoFundMe page so that you can electronically deposit money to this fund since we're all in different places doing our own things right now and getting together would be tough. On the GoFundMe page, I believe there is a section where you can leave your donation as well as a comment. If you want to leave a well wish to Charlotte, Mrs. Caraway, and her family, I'll print those off (excluding the dollar amount that you donated) and give them to her. This would be your way of signing the card that I put the check in.

After two weeks or so, I'll close the GoFundMe and if any of you are in town, you could come with me and we'll present the money to Mrs. Caraway and Charlotte. I know that we're all out there trying to make it in this world, so I don't expect everyone to give $1K, but just know that every little bit helps. If each person in this group gives $2, we'll be able to give her almost $200.

Please pass this info on to friends and family. The more money we can give to her the better. But please try to keep it on the down-low and not share it on Facebook. I know that might be kind of hard, but I don't want Mrs. Caraway to find out. I'd like it to be a surprise.

I will be withrdawaling the money and giving it directly to Mrs. Caraway in about two weeks. I know there are many GoFundMe scams out there, but I assure you this is not one of them.
