Funeral expenses

Hi we are extended family to Ruth Paternoster. We are trying to help a dear friend we love very much during one of the most challenging times in her life. Ruth and Mike Paternoster lost their son Jake in 2008 to a brain tumor that covered the entire left side of his brain. He came back strong each time through many surgeries and beating all the odds that the doctors said were against him. Jake had faith in God like no other little boy I have met before. He battled and fought, but unfortunately, God called Jake home on February 13th, 2008. From there, Ruth and Mike had to learn to live each day without their boy. Life has been far from easy, but at least they had each other. Recently Mike contracted COVID and passed away from covid complications. He was the sole provider for their family. Ruth needs help covering the expenses for Mikes's funeral and the basic necessities to live right now. Unfortunately, she is not able to take the time she needs to mourn her husband because she also needs to find a new place to live within the next 30 days. We would like to help at least put Mike into his final resting place to alleviate some of the stress Ruth has.
