MOMMA NEEDS OUR HELP!

For over 30+ years, throughout the '70s, 80's, and 90's, Momma took great care of us at the ZBT house. Who can forget the day we built her 'pit' and how she cried over it? The ribs, steaks, made-to-order breakfast, and the 'hey baby.'

We were with her at Rufus's funeral and her second husband Leandrew's funeral, and between her sister and us, we are all the family she has left.

She took care of us, we introduced her to our wives and children, and now she needs our help.

Momma has been sick for the last few years and was sent home from the hospital about three months ago with the need for round-the-clock aides. One of our brothers who wishes to remain anonymous has graciously paid the nursing company, and we'd like to give him some relief. It has amounted to about 20K per month.

With 30 years' worth of classes, we should get $4,000 - $5,000 per class covering the next few months.

This will give us breathing room and the time to get an Alabama senior care attorney (hopefully a brother) to advise her and us on the steps to get her qualified for assistance and then make arrangements with a nursing home. I just went through this under Florida law, and it took us a few months, hence the need for donations now to continue her aides.

Louis Tuck has been in touch with the trustee board, and they will administrate the funds, with any remaining going into scholarship funds for current and future ZBTs.

Hopefully, we will get Momma through this and have her visit with us on many more visits to Tuscaloosa.
