Cynthia’s Funeral Expenses

Hi my name is Haley, and I’m fundraising to help cover the expenses surrounding my little sister's tragic passing. On April 28, 2023, my baby sister Cynthia was involved in a fatal car accident in Lake Havasu, Arizona. Cynthia was a San Diego native, and only 22 years old at the time of her passing. Some of you may know that Cynthia did not have the easiest upbringing and faced many hardships growing up. No matter how difficult things were, Cynthia always wanted to help others, she had a huge heart and cared deeply for those around her. She battled with mental illnesses but didn't let them define her, constantly advocating for mental health awareness. She was so incredibly strong despite all the adversity she faced in her life. We are truly devastated by this huge loss to our family. Our older brother, Ross, will be traveling from New York, to San Diego soon to go with me to Arizona and bring our cherished Cynthia’s remains and belongings home. The car accident is currently being investigated and may require one of us to travel to Arizona again in the future as well as attorney fees depending on the results of the investigation. We are asking for help with covering her funeral expenses, the family's travel expenses and any future attorney fees we may end up having down the road. Cynthia was a ray of sunshine, if you knew her you loved her and if you just met her, you knew you'd have a friend for life. We are all at a loss without her. She left behind an 8month old puppy, Domino, which is now in my care. We are trying to navigate this tragedy; our hearts are shattered without our Cyn.
