Phil's Surgery

One of our dear friends, Phil Ficarra is in severe need for surgery. This family is strained financially, and they have been in battles with the insurance company to get this surgery approved. They are in the final stages of getting it approved, but they just came back and said it would be another $1000 or more that they will have to pay before the surgery. They are hoping to get the surgery this Wednesday. Please see the details below from his loving wife Brookelyn: 

"Hey All!! Wanted to let y'all know about what's going on in the Ficarra family, Phil (as some of you know) struggles with snoring and getting adequate sleep. After months of it getting worse, and migraines almost daily if not a migraine a dull headache.... he did a sleep test and was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and according to his ENT it's the worst he's ever seen. He is 100% blocked in one nostril and 95-98% in the other nostril, when he sleeps he stops breathing for a little bit. It has put a strain on his heart and the doctor has noticed some heart arrhythmia and has put him at a extremely high chance of having a heart attack or stroke. The ENT did say that he is so happy he came in now because if he would have waited in a month or two a heart attack, stroke or even death could have happened. He has a CPAP and will be having surgery to remove his tonsils, adenoids, uvula & soft palate. Also he needs a deviated septum done and clearing polyps out of his nose. This will help tremendously in his sleep and overall health. He is currently using oxygen at night because the risk is too much to not. Please pray the oxygen and CPAP will help Phil in the mean time till he can receive the surgery, we are so thankful for his ENT and his amazing care and urgency. As you can imagine we are very shocked by the severity of this. Thanks for you support and prayers! We love you all!" 

We are all scared if Phil does not get this surgery he could have a stroke, stop breathing, or have a heart attack in the middle of the night. I wouldn't start this campaign if I didn't truly believe they deserve the help. If you know this family, then you know they would do anything to help others in a bind. I would love nothing more than to help them get the surgery that Phil needs.
