For the past 20 years I have had the dream of being a holistic health practitioner and owning my own wellness practice, that offers preventative and alternative/complimentary health therapies. I have found the perfect holistic spa on Hilton Head island, the community that I long to serve.

For those of you who believe that life is a path, this has been my journey. My journey to this day has involved raising a son and putting myself through massage school and then nursing school. As a registered nurse, I have spent 6 years in the hospice field and as hospice nurse I have immense compassion for the choices that we make as people and how that affects our final outcome and the people that love us. I love and have been humbled many times over by the work that I do. I believe everyone has their time and helping other people cross over peacefully and with dignity intact has been a great blessing to myself and those I have assisted.

I have endured setbacks, single parenthood, triumph over adversity, relentless pursuit of spiritual awareness and passionately overcame any obstacle that was put in my way. At times it has been very challenging, but I never lost sight of my dream.  It is now that I feel like a phoenix rising from the ashes. 

Following my dream is the way I will honor all those that I have cared for that have passed on.

 I have spent the last three months working diligently to complete the business loan documentation, continue and complete the necessary education requirements to become a Holistic practitioner, went above and beyond with providing projections and a business history of the spa.

I am almost there! I have been approved and have the support of the current business owner, clients of the spa, and the bank. However, the bank is requesting more of a financial commitment than I have already invested. $15,000.00 is all that currently stands between my dream and my reality. I am definitely not the type to seek out financing in this way, but I believe part of growth is learning how to ask and be willing to receive the abundance life has to offer. The monies donated will be used to secure the loan for the spa, along with attorney closing costs and business license fees.  The sale of the spa will be complete as soon as I transfer the funds!

I am passionate about supporting individuals that are facing the same obstacles that I have had to overcome in my past. I thrive on the ability to help everyone reach his or her optimal wellness physically, emotionally and spiritually. I am asking for assistance in creating this reality. I will create a space and time to provide therapies to those that really need them but cannot afford them. As a way to pay it forward, I am reaching out to a group that is near and dear to my heart, victims of domestic violence, so that they too can find the peace to heal.

The universe has a wonderful way of bringing people together. Jenn (current owner) and I feel that we were cosmically brought together. Not only are our names, our vision, our passion for healing and our commitment to community the same but we also share the understanding and compassion for the challenging paths we sometimes have to face in life. I, as a hospice nurse understand her urgency to sell the spa as her mother is terminally ill and she needs desperately to get home to Australia to care for her.  My goal is to raise this money in the next two weeks to help her get there quickly.

 So whatever you donate, please know that from my heart of hearts I am eternally grateful, and I promise to help anyone that needs it find peace and healing in my wellness spa.
