Help Ken Lewis Get Back On His Feet

On November 16th 2022 our favorite local legend suffered a stroke caused by an irregularity in his heart. A small hole that will need to be fixed in surgery in the upcoming days.

Ken was very lucky to have caught the stroke coming and received life-saving medical attention. However, with a stroke and heart surgery comes a lengthy recovery and road ahead. During his 2nd week into bed rest, Ken also received notice that he and his family would need to vacate the property they've been renting for the last eight years. He now has 60 days to find a new spot and pack it up. If you know San Diego rent right now...you know this won't be a decrease from his original lease. Ken is still unable to return to work and is the primary source of income for his family, which also includes his 17 year old daughter.

Ken is well known in our surfing, skating and music communities and has always shown up for friends in need. Whatever community you identify with, we all owe him a great deal for what he has given to us. Right now...Ken needs us to show up for him. I realize it's a tight time of year for people but also a time to give and what better person to help out in his recovery.
