Jerry Kallis Medical Fund

Hello Everyone! 

This fundraiser is for Jerry Kallis. Jerry is an incredible man of God and such a constant joy and great blessing to those around him.

He was recently diagnosed with Lung cancer and has been on the journey to seeing health restored in full. With that, Jerry and his brother Cliff have found a brilliant Doctor in Spain who has a unique treatment plan you can't get here in the states. This plan has lots of great testimonials and success stories.

Jerry believes that this is the right step to take and we want to rally around him and help get him to Spain!

The treatment, along with transportation and housing will cost around $30,000.

A note from Lili Serrano - 

It has been a joy and breath of fresh air to have met “Brother Jerry” as I, Lili Serrano, affectionately call him.  Jerry Kallis has led a long life committed to God and to the service of people in different capacities.  As a Police Officer for 3 years in Folsom, Ca, another 3 years with El Dorado, and now with his Church’s “Celebrate Recovery” ministry in South Dakota.  He was diagnosed with Lung Cancer in December of 2019, but you would never know it, he is always full of laughter and joy...always so attentive and ready to help.  He is an inspiration to anyone that crosses his path.

Brother Jerry has now chosen to embark on a journey of healing with the World Renowned Dr. Raymond Hilu https://www.clinicahilu.com/ where alongside his brother Cliff Kallis, he will go through a series of treatments for 2 weeks straight. 

While there are other options to indefinitely cure his diagnosis, Brother Jerry has chosen this one with Dr. Hilu because it has given him the most peace (it is different for everyone).  Brother Jerry has bigger dreams in store for his life such as serving his Pastor and Church in South Dakota.  Alcohol was very much part of his upbringing and for several years as an adult.  He saw firsthand how alcohol separated families including his, as a child and as an adult.  He loves getting to walk with people through to recovery. 

Partnering with him through your donation will give him more than the restoration of his health.  It will allow him to continue his mission and passion to help restore the lives of others.  Brother Jerry feels called to make a big impact on the lives of those who walk through the door of Celebrate Recovery, yet he knows he must be healthy and is determined to be completely healed.

Additionally, we are also doing a separate GoFundMe fundraiser for Jerry's brother Cliff Kallis, who is also on a journey with cancer. They would both like to go see Dr. Hilu and receive this treatment together.

2) Total and complete healing for Jerry and his Brother.
