Dear friends and family,

As many of you know, helping others has always been one of my greatest joys, and some of you may have even received support from me in the past in one form or another. I’ve been blessed never to need financial help myself— but today I am asking you: Please Please help me help a friend.

I am urgently asking for your help on behalf of a dear childhood friend close to my heart—a devoted mother of two children who is facing a crisis through no fault of her own. For her privacy, I won’t use her name, but she is someone who has always shown strength, kindness, and generosity.

Her husband abruptly left and COMPLETELY EMPTIED their bank accounts, leaving her with no money for rent, utilities, food, or basic necessities. Her credit was damaged, bills and rent went unpaid without her knowledge, and she is now facing immediate eviction while caring for her two children. She has been responsible and careful with money her entire life. Hiring an attorney will be added to the list but right now there is no time, the funds need to be for shelter, food, utilities, etc.

She is working and searching for additional employment—especially remote opportunities—but the situation is too overwhelming for her to recover from alone.

She urgently needs help with: Funds for a new rental (deposit, a few months rent); moving expenses she is being evicted, food and essentials; car insurance & transportation; utilities and overdue bills, etc, etc.

I have see a lot of things...yet, I have never seen this level of financial devastation, abuse and destitution. She is one of us, please help...anything helps.

This is not irresponsibility—this is financial abuse, and she is doing everything she can to survive and create stability for her children.
