Hello Everyone,
I've started this page in an effort to help a friend and coworker of mine who is going through a very rough time.
Misty is a 41 year old single female. In 2018, she was diagnosed with stage 3 Colon Cancer and went through major surgery and a year of chemotherapy. Misty has been in remission since then and was on the road back to normalcy.
During a routine scan there were a couple of areas of concern and her health is in jeopardy again. Misty will undergo a major surgery next week. Following treatment is undetermined at this time and will depend on surgical pathology. She will be required to be out of work for 12 weeks.
Although Misty currently has a great job, her prior health issues and medical follow-ups have left her with no PTO time. She does have a STD policy however it will not be enough to cover all her expenses. Misty is a single woman with no additional financial support.
Misty is still in the process of paying off her medical debt from her previous illness, surgery and treatment. I want to do something to help her in this time of crisis. I'd like to try and help her cover her living expenses (rent and utilities) for at least three months. This will take a huge burden off of her. I'm reaching out to my friends and family for help. I know many of you are also struggling personally due to COVID and are not in a position to help (I 100% understand). Prayers are much appreciated too.
This campaign is solely dedicated to helping aid Misty with medical bills and related life expenses. For those of you who feel led to help, I appreciate anything you can do. My goal is to raise $5,000.00. Thank you all for taking the time to read this. I wish you all the best and stay safe.
